Myomar Announces Product Launch
HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, September 13, 2024 –Myomar Molecular Inc. (the “Company” or “Myomar”), a medical technology company focused on developing innovative approaches to understand muscle degeneration and muscle health, today announced the launch of its Muscle Health Test in the Canadian market. This comes after Health Canada’s approval of the Medical Device Establishment License, successful partnerships with local businesses, and a scale-up of operations. The test will be available at Myomar business partners within the Halifax Regional Municipality of Nova Scotia on October 7th, 2024. The test provides users with the ability to quickly measure and track overall muscle health and muscle loss. The technology measures specific biomarkers in urine providing a muscle health score and can be used to trigger actions to improve quality of life, facilitate a faster recovery process, and increase physical performance.

On top of launching the Muscle Health Test, the company has received the prestigious Orbit Health grant from the Canadian Space Agency and MEDTEQ+ and officially joined the Innovation Boost Zone (IBZ) incubator in Toronto. The Orbit Health grant will support Myomar's ongoing research and innovation in muscle health technologies, further validating the company's cutting-edge approach. Additionally, membership in the IBZ incubator provides access to state-of-the-art resources, collaborative opportunities, and a dynamic network of innovators.
